Yesterday was one of my colleagus birthday. Happy Birthday Anna! Stayed late for work before going home to get ready to U-E S-quare to celebrate her birthday.
Accompanied by BF as I would be awkward if I were to go alone. Get ready and yes, we were late. Reached home almost 8 and had a very late dinner before we reached at the pub. So sorry about that.
When we finally reached, it was nice to see some of the ex-colleagues like Kathleen, Jessica and Ken (my good buddy back then.. hahaha). I thought that me and BF would be very awkward, but thanks to my the colleagues and ex-colleagues and even some unknown people talked to me and BF. Anna had great friends there. We didnt feel lonely or awkward at all.
One thing for sure, BF knows how to socialise and mingle around. I need not care of what he's going to say
like some peeps. hehe. But he seems shy though
(dia shy? mesti korg tk sangka hahaha). This thing is important to me cause in the next stage, i will have to bring him anywhere to many other occasions in the near future. So far, he's been accepted by my friends and knows when to talk or not to
(yg penting dia tk W.O.R.L.D and talk about himself only haha) Back to Anna's celebration. It was the sweetest thing ever made by her BF. When the cake finally came out, her BF (which is my colleague as well) sang her a birthday song and proposed to her. It was so sweet. Now she will be Mrs Ong. Congrats Babe. So next year, there would be 2 big weddings to attend which is theirs and my another favourite colleague which is my Manager. Congrats to all. May all the wishes come true. It was such a happy happy occasion yesterday.
I am happy now. No matter what I have to go through. Patience is the best medicine to all. It just makes me happier. Alhamdulilah. Insyallah, everything will be fine. Amin.
